Overview

Pass Designer is a macOS app for designing Apple Wallet passes. You start from an Apple template or your own, then set the pass style, colors, images, text fields, barcodes and semantic tags while a live preview shows the pass as it appears in Wallet, including on earlier iOS versions.

The app checks your pass as you work and flags issues such as missing required keys. It saves designs as .pkpasstemplate bundles, which you can personalize, sign and distribute with Pass Builder, Apple's Swift on Server package, or unpack and sign yourself.

Live preview

Previews use the same rendering as iOS and watchOS, true to what people see.

Templates

Start from Apple-provided templates for six pass styles, or from your own.

Built-in validation

Flags issues such as missing required keys and unexpected definitions as you work.

Semantic tags

Edit semantic data for boarding passes and event tickets, with text field fallbacks.
